Scalp detox, ASMR scalp massage and deep rest — in English, 8 minutes from Malmö Central.

ASMR Head Spa is Sweden's most reviewed Japanese head spa, rated 4.9 out of 5 by more than 670 guests. We are a specialist salon: instead of a classic body spa, every treatment is built around the scalp — cleansing, circulation, tension release and the sensory calm of ASMR. Visiting Malmö from Copenhagen, Lund or further away? Our therapists work in English, and the whole ritual is explained step by step before we begin.

What is a Japanese head spa?

In Japan, head spa is its own discipline. The scalp is treated as skin — an organ that collects sebum, product residue and tension — rather than as a surface for styling. A full ritual moves through seven stages: consultation, exfoliation, steam, a double cleanse with warm soft water, 30–40 minutes of slow precision massage, a nourishing mask and a quiet rest. The rhythm of the massage is what triggers ASMR and shifts the nervous system into its parasympathetic, restorative state.

Most guests describe three effects: a scalp that finally feels clean, hair that looks lighter and glossier, and the deepest sleep they have had in weeks.

Frequently asked questions

Do you speak English at ASMR Head Spa in Malmö?

Yes. All treatments are given in English or Swedish — just tell us when you book. Most of our guests from Copenhagen, Lund and abroad are treated entirely in English.

What is a Japanese head spa?

A Japanese head spa is a multi-step ritual for the scalp: consultation, exfoliation, steam, a double cleanse with warm soft water, 30–40 minutes of precision scalp massage, a nourishing mask and a calm rest. It cleans the scalp, relieves tension in the head, neck and jaw, and triggers deep ASMR relaxation.

How much does a head spa cost in Malmö?

Short scalp and scratch treatments start at 700 SEK (about €62). A 60-minute ASMR Head Spa is from 995 SEK, 75 minutes from 1,095 SEK and the 90-minute Luxe ritual from 1,394 SEK. A 99 SEK weekend surcharge applies on Saturdays and Sundays.

How do I get to the salon from Malmö Central or Copenhagen?

We are at Västanväg 63 in Limhamn, 8 minutes by car from Malmö Central and about 45 minutes from Copenhagen via the Öresund Bridge or the train to Malmö. Bus 4 and 34 stop 200 metres away and there is parking right outside the salon.

Can I pay by card as a visitor?

Yes. We accept cards, Swish and Swedish wellness benefits (Epassi). Booking online in advance is recommended, as slots sell out on weekends.

Is a head spa good for hair loss or an itchy scalp?

A head spa is not a medical treatment, but a clean, well-circulated scalp is a better environment for hair. Guests with oily build-up, flaking, itchiness or tension headaches usually notice the largest difference.
